Meet the Builder assembly
It was a pleasure to welcome the team from Stonebond, who are developing the new houses being built at the top of Hampton.

On Sunday 9th November, pupils from St Andrew’s proudly took part in the Evesham Remembrance Parade. A big thank you and well done to our Year 5 volunteers who represented the school so beautifully by laying a wreath as part of the Act of Remembrance.
It was heart-warming to see so many of our children participating in the parade through their involvement in different community organisations such as Beavers, Cubs, Rainbows and Brownies. Their respectful contribution helped honour all those who gave their lives in service to our country.
We will never forget.

Despite Ash taking the glory in the house tug of war and Oak leading the way in the photography competition, Rowan have regained the house cup for the autumn 1 half term.

Year 3 had an exciting afternoon in the Forest on Monday as they stepped back in time to the Stone Age! The children worked in teams to design and build their own shelters using natural materials, thinking carefully about how to make them strong and weatherproof. They also created simple “weapons” and tools from sticks and stones, just like early humans might have done. Everyone was fascinated as they watched a fire-lighting demonstration, learning how people in the Stone Age would have used fire for warmth, cooking, and protection. Afterwards, the class took part in a brilliant discussion about how essential fire, shelters, and tools were for survival in the Stone Age. It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience!

There were so many outstanding entries into our annual autumn photography competition. A huge thank and well done to everyone who entered. After a recount of the winners following a miscount during celebration assembly, we can confirm that Oak have emerged triumphant in this event.
Our disco was such a wonderful way to finish this half term.
Excellent skills were on display.
Keeping Our Smiles Healthy!
This week, the Apple children enjoyed a visit to Old MacDonald’s Farm! They got creative by making handprint sheep and decorating pig-shaped biscuits. Throughout the week, they’ve taken part in lots of farm-themed activities that encouraged imaginative play and exploration.
Some of our Year 5 pupils recently took part in a cross-country event at Prince Henry’s High School, representing our school with pride and enthusiasm. The 1,700m course took them through orchards and fields, where they demonstrated many of our core school values, including excellent teamwork, determination, and perseverance. Every runner gave their best effort, encouraging one another throughout the challenging route. We were especially proud that many of our pupils finished in the top 20 out of 60 runners — a fantastic achievement! A special mention goes to Poppy, who finished an impressive 5th place, Jagoda, who came 7th, and Teigan, who secured 8th — an outstanding performance from all three!
Our Year 5 trip to Cadbury World was a fantastic experience! We began by touring through the rainforest, where we saw cacao trees and learned about the ancient Maya civilisation who first discovered the magic of chocolate. We then enjoyed a tour of the factory before sampling some delicious chocolate treats and even had a go at tempering our own chocolate. To finish the day, we took part in a fascinating workshop about the Maya civilisation, where we smelt raw cacao and even dressed up as Maya royalty — who were said to drink up to 30 cups of hot chocolate a day! It was a fun, educational, and chocolate-filled adventure from start to finish.
We’ve been singing and exploring with Incy Wincy Spider and Row, Row, Row Your Boat! The children loved getting creative with water play and making their very own spiders.
