Friday’s Achievement Assembly

This Friday, we came together to celebrate the many achievements of our pupils. We recognised our outside achievers for their successes beyond school and our class achievers for their hard work, effort and positive attitudes in the classroom.

We were also delighted to award badges to members of our Crew Club, recognising their leadership and commitment to our school community.

Well done to everyone who was celebrated – we are so proud of you all!

🌳 Forest School Adventures 🌳

This week, our Nursery children enjoyed a fantastic Forest School session—rain and all! They enjoyed being outdoors and had a wonderful time learning new skills.

The children made tree cookies and learned how to use a bow saw safely to cut the wood. We spent time discussing and following safety rules, ensuring everyone worked carefully and confidently.

We also enjoyed playing on the new swing and climbing the ladder, giving the children opportunities for risk taking in a safe and supported environment.

It was a brilliant session full of learning, creativity, and fun!

Year 4 Link and Learn

Year 4 had a fantastic afternoon on Tuesday as parents and carers joined us for our Link and Learn session. We demonstrated our oracy skills, using our talking tactics to support meaningful discussions about villages, towns and cities as part of this half-term’s topic. The children especially loved interviewing the grown-ups!
