Celebrating Our Week!

As we come to the end of another busy and exciting week, we’ve taken time today (Thursday) to celebrate all the wonderful things our pupils have achieved. Friday 24th October is a TED day, so our usual Friday celebrations have taken place a little earlier, but that hasn’t stopped us from recognising everyone’s fantastic efforts!

Our celebration assembly was filled with pride and positivity as we shared stories of determination, creativity, and progress from across the school. From impressive learning and sporting success to musical talents and personal growth; every achievement is something to be proud of!

Well done to everyone for a brilliant half term! Have a lovely break, and we look forward to welcoming you back to school on Monday 3rd November 2025.

Our value of this half-term has been perseverance. At the end of each half-term, we celebrate our values champion. A member of each class is selected for this. Historically, we woud award a small trophy. Children will now be given an embroidered badge that can be sewed onto the sleeve of their school jumper or a blanket. These will arrive after half -term.

After a very patient wait, our photography panel selected our ten winners in our house photography competition. Thank you for everyone who entered this. There was some incredible examples, which can be seen, along with the final results, in our news feed below. 10 housepoints have been awarded for each winner and these will be added to our house totals for the year.

We said Farewell to Mrs Kiedrowska as she moves onto new adventures. Mrs Kiedrowska has supported many children during her time at St Andrew's and we wish her every success in the future and thank her for all that she has done for our school.

There were wonderful examples of our values and attributes on display this week. We celebrated the successes that had been particularly noted by our teachers. Well done to all who had a certificate.

Well done for reaching stage four in swimming.

An excellent achievement in year 3. Our prestigous platinum times table award was handed out.

So Much Fun At Forest Club
Throughout the term, the children have worked incredibly hard in the woodland by enhancing our base camp and helping to create a new dipping pond to encourage wildlife. Over recent weeks, they have also enjoyed outdoor cooking, foraging, and developing a range of survival skills.
Well done to everyone who took part!

On Friday 14th November, for Children in Need, we will be doing a sponsored bounce. A bouncy castle has kindly been donated by Parker's Inflatables & Soft Play. The bouncy castle will have someone bouncy on it at all points of the day to meet our challenge.

Please bring in your donations on this day for Children in Need with your sponsorship forms to your class. We encourage using our just giving link for donations:
