Celebrating Success in Today’s Assembly

Today’s assembly was a wonderful celebration of the many achievements of our pupils. We were delighted to recognise children from across the school who have received class awards, celebrating their effort, attitude and commitment to learning.

We also proudly awarded certificates for outside achievements, recognising the beyond the classroom. These included successes in swimming, STEM challenges, karate and dance, highlighting the wide range of talents and interests within our school community. It is always a pleasure to see how pupils apply the values they learn in school to their activities outside of it.

A special mention goes to Harrison, who achieved his Platinum Times Table Award which is an outstanding accomplishment that reflects determination, perseverance and a strong commitment to learning. We are incredibly proud of him.

Well done to all of our award winners today. Your hard work and enthusiasm truly deserve to be celebrated.

Apples Fun First Week Back!

This week we welcomed some new friends to Apples and also enjoyed seeing some familiar faces come back! This term our topic is 'people who help us' and we are focusing on the female role models such as mummy, nanny, sister and auntie. The children enjoyed accessing their new environment and the activities we had planned for them!

This week we welcomed Sarah from STEMWorks, who led the Worcestershire Primary STEM Challenge. This year’s 2026 challenge, developed in partnership with West Midlands Safari Park, tasked pupils with designing and building a theme park ride for eight people, inspired by the animals at the park. We are incredibly proud of Year 5 for their innovative, moving designs, all expertly constructed using K’nex. Well done to everyone involved!
