It has been a pleasure to welcome our pupils and families back to school for the first week of term. It was incredibly quiet throughout the holidays in school and it has been a joy to hear the chatter and laughter once again filling the classrooms.

I have been so impressed with how our pupils have adapted to being back in school. They look incredibly smart and I am grateful for the effort that our families have gone to with ensuring that children are prepared and have all that they need to be successful in school.

As well as our new reception and nursery starters, we have had a number of joiners in other year groups. It is a delight to see how welcome they are made to feel by our pupils and community. We also welcome Miss Massey into our reception team, who has settled in beautifully.

Amongst many other efforts throughout the summer to be ready for the new year, we launched a new school website. Communication will continue on dojo, but we will be regularly updating our website with information and latest news. We know that when we work with our families and communicate regularly, we can build a greater sense of belonging and we want all of you to feel a part of our school and share in the wonderful memories and experiences your children have during their time with us.

We are excited to be starting a new year and look forward to sharing with you and your children in their achievements and experiences.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Turvey
