Year 5 Church Assembly
Today, we enjoyed a special visit to church for our Year Assembly. The children joined in beautifully with the hymns and confidently performed the story of David and Goliath, sharing an important message about courage, faith and perseverance.
As part of the service, we brought our school bags to be blessed. Helen spoke to us about how we can sometimes carry worries with us before we even arrive at school. She reminded us that just as we carry our bags, we can also carry our feelings and concerns.
Helen encouraged us to remember the importance of a smile, kindness and patience. By showing these qualities to ourselves and others, we can help reduce stress and worries and make our school community a happier and more supportive place for everyone.
We are very proud of how respectfully the children participated and represented our school throughout the assembly. Well done, everyone! 🌟
