My class recently spent three fantastic days at the Urdd centre from Wednesday morning to Friday afternoon. I love the fun and interactive activities we had in Cardiff Bay. This location was the ideal choice for residentials and just generally having a fun time exploring the bay was fantastic experience from outside activities to local adventures. This memorable resort had everything you could possibly need. If you ask me, I think this trip was as good as it as good as it gets. And I must recommend this fabulous trip to the year fives next year!

The accommodation of the Urdd centre was comfortable, yet affordable the amazing staff of the Urdd were super friendly, and their work ethic was amazing. The Urdd centre had all of the food and drinks supplied for us. The food itself was extremely tasty, but it could’ve been more on the healthy side in the Urdd centre. It had a cosy common room with chairs tables and even a pool table. I do recommend bringing 50p to play the pool. The Urdd staff did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome and at home not once on the trip. Did I feel homesick at all it felt like a home away from home. The mattresses were comfy. The pillows were plump and the bathroom was amazing. Yet the water was a bit cold. Overall, I had an extremely fun experience and you ought to consider trying the Urdd centre for yourself

If you are able to take that Aqua bus, it will drop you off in the perfect position to visit the jaw dropping outstanding experience of Cardiff Castle. Once you’re inside the majestic walls of the castle you are able to see the amazing architecture, towers and statues. If you love history and facts I recommend visiting Cardiff Castle, the amazing tour guides will show you all the amazing and juicy bits of history, this castle holds. Inside the castle, there was an amazing World War II, bunker that you could explore and go inside of what you done that you can build up the courage to climb up the Norman fort in the middle of the castle. Once you’ve gone up the steep and staggering stairs you are left with the most amazing view of Cardiff City you can see everything! You can even see the sea the views at the top of that fought a totally worth the climb. After you’re done exploring you can have a picnic in the centre of the courtyard. Once your tummy is full, you can play the wonderful yard games they have in the court like beanbag, toss and life-size Jenga. The castle is a must see visit for anyone who is staying in Cardiff. This was definitely the highlight of our trip if you’re lucky enough, you’ll be able to see the live re-enactments

Another outstanding activity we participated in was visiting Techniquest. It Is a fun interactive museum about science where we could undertake experiments and just genuinely have a fun time. One thing I liked the most about Techniquest is the free roaming activities we can just walk around and do all of the experiments we wanted to. I recommend the slide and the earthquake machine. Techniquest is a place where it is fun for all ages and if you love science! Plus, it’s just a short walk from the Urdd Centre after you’ve had some fun learning about science you can stop off at Cardiff Bay ice cream parlour for a sweet treat of many flavours and toppings. It is a nice way to unwind and gaze off into the sea. I recommend the mint Choc chip flavour

Overall, I will stay at Cardiff Bay again as it was an unforgettable jaw-dropping experience the combination of exquisite activities and amazing accommodation. Made this the most outstanding trip ever the range of activities on Techniquest unlock unforgettable, memories, the facts and learning opportunities of Cardiff Castle were splendid and if you’re looking for a school-friendly trip, this is the place to be the affordable, yet surprisingly, amazing experience sells this as the best residential hostel ever.
