Reception class teacher

We are currently recruiting a reception class teacher to join us as soon as possible in the Spring term. We have a wonderful reception cohort, who cannot wait to meet their new teacher. We provide strong mentoring for new teachers, with a curriculum that is effective and well established. With a nursery on site, many of our reception children transition straight from our nursery and so our teachers have the opportunity to get to know the children throughout their time in early years. HLTA to cover PPA

We are currently recruiting for a permanent HLTA L4 to cover PPA across the school for 18 hours across three days term time only plus TED days. 

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong classroom experience and great communication skills
• Is confident leading learning independently and adapting learning for pupils with SEN
• Shows initiative, positivi, and dedication to pupil success
• Is committed to safeguarding and our school values
• Has a L4 qualification (or higher qualification) in an education related course

Your role will include:

• Leading learning with individuals, groups, and whole classes
• Preparing lessons in line with agreed schemes of work
• Supporting high-quality teaching and pupil progress
• Delivering interventions and tailored learning activities
• Working closely with teachers and support staff Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
