John Martin's Charity Trustees Visit

We were delighted to welcome some of the trustees at John Martin's Charity for a visit to our school today.
John Martin was a local man, who left a large amount of his estate to a trust. John Martin's charity work in close partnership with many organisations and support a huge amount of young people who live and grow up in and around Evesham.
Our school is the only one in the area which is directly mentioned in John Martin's will. Because of this, the charity provides funds annually to support our school in enhancing the provision we offer for children with Special Educational Needs. During our visit today, we explained how our amazing pastoral team support our children and families and the steps and plans we have been taken to improve our support for children who face barriers to learning. We shared with them the details of our new Meadow team who are supporting our pupils with interventions to enable them to make the best possible progress, whilst still accessing learning in the classroom as much as possible.
It was a wonderful visit and we are grateful for the time and support the trustees put into supporting the young people of Evesham.
