House Tug of War Returns with a Roaring Start to the School Year
On Wednesday 24th September, the much-anticipated return of the House Tug of War marked the first inter-house event of the academic year. The atmosphere on the school field was electric as students gathered in high spirits, ready to show their strength, determination, and team spirit.
The event drew a supportive crowd of parents and family members, who lined the boundary to cheer on their children and enjoy the friendly but fierce competition.
Each house brought their A-game, with everyone digging deep and pulling together, quite literally - to try and claim an early victory in the house standings. The event was filled with thrilling moments, as teams battled it out in closely contested rounds, showcasing not only physical power but also unity and strategy.
It was a fantastic way to kick off the year’s house competitions, with plenty of excitement and encouragement echoing across the field. While only one house could emerge as the ultimate victor on the day, the event proved a triumph for school spirit and community involvement.
The Tug of War has certainly set the tone for a competitive and spirited year ahead and we look forward to seeing how the rest of the house events unfold.
