Behaviour

At St Andrew's, we serve a wide range of needs. Our approach to supporting children is relational. We recognise that children are learning to manage emotions, relationships and conflict as they grow. During their time at St Andrew's our curriculum seeks to equip them with appropriate skills to do this. Much like other areas of learning, some children face barriers to developing regulation and home structures to feel a deep sense of belonging. Some of our children have experienced traumatic events. At our school, we accept and include all pupils and strive to develop children from their starting point. We aim for our children to follow our school golden rules which were produce by our pupil parliament in 2025.

Please follow the links below for a summary of strategies we use and our most recent training for our staff. Our behaviour policy includes further details.
