The team shared with the children the process they have been through in acquiring the land and the measures that they put in place to support sustainable development and biodiversity through the development. We were excited to hear about the learning opportunities we have planned in collaboration and how our pupils are going to be involved.

They shared all of the things that they consider when they are developing homes for people moving to the area.

Over the coming year, children will be planting some of the garden areas on the new development, observing different stages of the construction, developing a health and safety poster to ensure that the team are reminded of all that they  need to do to keep safe when working. Our older children will be working on the marketing and thinking about the benefits of living in Hampton and the Evesham area.

We hope that this collaboration enables authentic learning opportunities and inspires our pupils to think about the wide range of careers involved in the development.
