Our topic this term in Apples is opposites and this week we have been learning about 'up'

Inside the children have had the opportunity to use the paint rollers and mix different colours together whilst rolling the paint up the paper. For snack this week, we have been having toast and crumpets with jam. The children have been very patient waiting for them to pop up from the toaster! 

In our role play area this week, we have had the hairdresser tools out. The children have enjoyed using all the hair tools to wash and put their friend's hair up. In the maths area, the children were asked "How tall can you build your tower up?" The children did a great job at balancing and counting their blocks! Outside, we have stacked the crates and the tyres so the children can climb up. We have also created a ramp and gave the children a challenge to push the cars up the ramp!
