Inclusion
We have recently participated on a joint project with The University of Worcester, focused on enhancing the culture and provision around inclusion. St Andrew's has a long history of inclusion and supporting all children regardless of their needs and barriers to learning. This resulted in the school being acknowledged with the Inclusion Quality Mark in 2023.
Our community recognise that inclusion runs through every aspect of our school and community. Every policy, meeting, training session with staff and interaction by a member of our school builds our positive culture of inclusion.
Purpose: For all members of our school community to feel that they and others belong and can thrive with the right support
Principles: belief that all people can flourish with love and support
People: who are open to growth and challenge and who lift others as they move forwards
Practices: Open to growth and learning, the courage to challenge conventional approaches and thinking, research informed interventions, becoming the solution, unconditional positive regard
