St Andrew's CE School is a deeply inclusive school. We recognise the strengths in all individuals and seek to support those with barriers to learning to overcome those barriers and feel included in our school, their classroom and in the curriculum. 

We know that the best way to support our pupils with SEND is through exception teaching, which allows all pupils to access, achieve and make progress through adaptations for pupils and the right amount of adult support to enable success and independence to develop.  

We know that some pupils require additional support and interventions to enable them to make progress and at St Andrew's, we strive to identify pupils who need this additional support as early as possible.

Our team of support staff work closely with our SENCO, Miss Handley, to offer a wide range of support from Lego Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy to one-to-one sessions with our school therapist.
